The Sellwood Peregrine Falcons

There are Peregrine falcons that have been nesting under the Sellwood bridge in Portland Oregon. Male hummingbirds do not make good fathers. They are always trying to impress the females with their courtship dives and frequently looking for a new mate. The females get left having to make the nest and tend for the young while the males do nothing to help. It must be tough being a female Anna’s Hummingbird. Neskowin in December
