I recently made a trip out to Sauvie Island. My main goal was to photograph Sand Hill Cranes. It turned out to be a very nice day. I achieved my goal and was able to find Sandhill Cranes and many more migratory birds. Here are some of my photos from this session....

It has been a challenging month for me. I took on some hard jobs that did not leave me with a lot of time or energy to go out and do wildlife photography. It is also very difficult to photograph with my long lens without a lot of natural light. January was a very grey month. I was able to get out on a few nice days and get these photos....
